Docent-led tours last approximately one hour and begin in the lobby of the Bryant Bannister Tree-Ring Building. During your tour you will be introduced to the basic tenets of dendrochronology, view a variety of tree-ring samples and visit the work areas and laboratory spaces of our researchers. Reservations for tours are not required but are highly suggested so that the docents may prepare in advance for your tour. If your group is larger than 8 people, has specific interests or requires special accommodations, please let us know in advance so that we may accommodate your needs and tailor the tour experience specifically for your group.  For reservations you may call or email Pamela Pelletier at pamela@email.arizona.edu 520.621.0984.The UA Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research Docent-led tours are free, however the University of Arizona Parking and Transportation Service does charge a fee for parking on campus. Directions and parking information may be found under the Outreach Tab on the main Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research website.
