The the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research is hosting the Second American Dendrochronology Conference (AmeriDendro2013) on May 13–17, 2013. The conference includes oral presentations, posters, workshops, and field trips, with topics covering everything from the biological basis of ring formation to practical applications of tree-ring chronologies in many disciplines. The next major international tree-ring conference after this will be WorldDendro, in January of 2014 in Melbourne, Australia.
