Join us for our Tree-Ring Open House, Saturday, March 11 from 10AM-2PM during the Tucson Festival of Books. We will ONLY be open on Saturday, so you don't want to miss it!
During our Open house event, we offer something for readers of all ages! Come explore our Exhibit Hall and Children's story telling area. Take a short Lab tour and meet the scientists behind the cutting-edge research in dendrochronology.
Public Lecture at 11AM by Dr. Stephen Pyne
Join us for a special lecture by Dr. Stephen Pyne as he presents on the grand narrative of fire on Earth - “Fire, a biography”. Dr. Pyne is the author or 30 books, most recently “Between Two Fires”; “The Southwest: A Fire Survey”; and “To the Last Smoke”. Book raffles and signings to follow the lecture.
