Connie Woodhouse named AGU Fellow

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Connie Woodhouse has been named to the 2022 Class of Fellows for the American Geophysical Union. These AGU Fellows have earned this recognition because of remarkable innovation and/or sustained scientific impact. In addition, each Fellow embodies AGU’s values by fostering equity, integrity, diversity, and open science; by mentoring; through public engagement; and in their communications.

Connie is recognized for her pioneering work on using tree-ring science to understand annual to millennial variability in the flow of river systems and practitioner engagement with and use of this knowledge. With this status, Connie is amongst the select individuals that the AGU recognizes as "global leaders and experts who propel our understanding of geosciences. Their research, which pushes our boundaries of knowledge to create a healthy planet and beyond, is an inspiration to us all.
