Tree-Ring Lab Director in Showtime documentary starting April 20

Tom Swetnam, Director of the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research, is featured in the “Fire Line” episode of the Showtime TV documentary series on climate change, Years of Living Dangerously. The segment, which shows beginning Sunday, April 20, deals with how increasing numbers of forest fires fit into the overall picture of changing climate, and includes footage of cutting a fire-scarred stump in the Valles Caldera National Preserve.
