Outreach Event

Arizona Science Teacher Association (ASTA) Conference

We will be participating in a panel discussion at the Arizona Science Teacher Association (ASTA) Conference, held at Grand Canyon University.

We will host an outreach table at the Whitmore Elementary School Science Night event from 6-7PM.

Bannister 110 will be reserved on December 8 from 11:30AM-1:30PM for the Tree-Ring Potluck. More details to follow.

Our LTRR docents will meet up with the Arizona State Museum docents for cross-training and a tour of the Museum.

Students from Pima Community College will attend a tour of the Laboratory.

Local students will attend a photo shoot with folks from the UA Marketing and Brand Management office.

We will be preparing for the Life Rings workshop, to be held October 22.

Students from Rio Rico HS will visit the Lab for a dendro class and tour.

Students from Red Mountain HS will visit the Lab for a dendro class and tour.

Tree-Ring Day. Bannister 110 is reserved all day for an engaging day of tree-ring talks by faculty, students, and staff.
