Tree-Rings Talks & Tours Day!

Please join us in celebrating Tree-Ring Day, Tuesday, April 7 during Earth Week at Bryant Bannister Tree-Ring Building.

Lab tours will be offered 11AM–Noon. Potluck lunch from 12–12:30PM. Tree-Ring Lab Outreach will be providing a meat and cheese tray. Please bring a dish to share with everyone!

Beginning at 12:30PM, join us for short talks from students and faculty on using tree-ring science to Link the Spheres in celebration of Earth Week. See the program for more details.

PCC Environmental Biology Tour

This is a reserved tour for PCC Students. Docents and Haury Scholars are welcome to contact Pamela Pelletier in advance if they would like to shadow this tour to learn more about the lab. 

Gowan Science Academy

Pamela Pelletier will host the Gowan Science Academy and provide a presentation and tour of the Laboratory.

Elementary School Visit

Pamela Pelletier and Mary Glueck will be hosting this event at the LTRR. This activity is reserved for a specific group and designed to introduce elementary school students to dendrochronology.

Environmental Education Exchange

This special evening event is reserved for the Environmental Exchange group. A member of the oureach team will introduce the basic tenets of dendrochronolgy and provide a brief tour of the lab. Researcher Jim Parks will be giving a 15 minute briefing about career pathways and archaeology in the Southwest.
