Dendro class AT Immaculate Heart Academy

We will be leading a dendro class for fourth grade students at the Immaculate Heart Academy.

Association for Fire Ecology Tours

We will be hosting members of the Association for Fire Ecology for a short lecture and tours. We will meet in the Outreach Classroom, located in Archive 140, to be followed by Lab tours. 9:30AM. Short lecture by Erana Loveless, PhD candidate 10-11AM. Laboratory tours.

Dendro class AT Tully Magnet Elementary School

We will be presenting a dendro class to the second grader students at Tully Magnet Elementary School.

Arizona Science Teacher Association (ASTA) Conference

We will be participating in a panel discussion at the Arizona Science Teacher Association (ASTA) Conference, held at Grand Canyon University.

Tour for CoS Visitors

This is a private tour for College of Science visitors, which will begin in Bannister 101.

Dendro class AT St. Marks Preschool

We will present a dendro class to the Pre-K class at St. Marks Preschool.

Tour for UA Science Ambassadors

Students from the UA Science Ambassadors program will meet in the lobby of the Bryant Bannister Tree-Ring Building (1215 E. Lowell St.).  Visitors will be introduced to the basic tenets of dendrochronology, have a chance to examine specimens, and visit our working labs.

Science Night AT Whitmore Elementary School

We will host an outreach table at the Whitmore Elementary School Science Night event from 6-7PM.

Tour for Highland of Dove Mountain - Life Long Learning Class

Visitors from the Highlands at Dove Mountain Life Lon Learners program will meet in the lobby of the Bryant Bannister Tree-Ring Building (1215 E. Lowell St.).  Visitors will be introduced to the basic tenets of dendrochronology, have a chance to examine specimens, and visit our working labs.
